Jasmyne Michelle has been “faithfully uncool” since she was an undergrad at Virginia Commonwealth University pursuing dual majors in Religious Studies and International Social Justice. As her personal faith grew, Jasmyne found her passion in exploring diverse religious scholarship and Christian ideologies.

Years later, she's attended conferences about the myriad ways religion impacts our lives, participated in church vocational discernment groups, and engaged in thought-provoking conversations that all led to one conviction: The best scholarship reminds us that the Bible is not a weapon to use against the marginalized.

about life, Christianity, and spirituality. Regardless of where you are on your spiritual journey - Christian, atheist, another believer, or undefined - she’s glad you’re here and hopes you learn something new for the road.
